Silly little Mormons. Voting is for Athiests!

Homosexuality is a behavior, not a race. It is an action, not a lifestyle. A rose is a rose no matter how much you say it's a dog. (I really tire of people comparing homosexuality to race rights)

Marriage is an age old system that combines nature and religion to create a pact between a male and a female. The resulting couple can then build a family using their pro-creative capacity to build a family. It has been that way for years and the question comes, do people who participate in homosexual acts have the right to redefine marriage, and do people who disagree with that definition change have the right to have a say.

The Mormon Church is a collective of people. They have the right to think the same way on a particular issue. The Church feels that redefining marriage is wrong and believes that it could harm religion to allow a redefinition to happen. So it asked its adherents to help fight the redefinition. The Church itself did not spend millions on Prop 8. It's members did.

When Prop 8 was being designed, the California Supreme Court decided to make a decision before it went to vote and struck down the previous Proposition 22, which defined what California would recognize as "marriage". This created a false reality that Prop 8 was now being designed to REMOVE rights. That was what we call a marketing strategy. (Prop 8 came before the court ruling)

The Separation of Church and State is a term not in the U.S. Constitution. The First Amendment protects RELIGION from GOVERNMENT, not the opposite. We are trying to avoid a Church of America, but we are not saying that a group of Church members can't have a say in Government.

Bottom line is homosexuals demanded we change the definition of marriage. The majority of us disagreed. Mormons, a *shock* conservative group was part of that majority. Democracy worked, the homosexual agenda lost, and rather than acting adult, it went swinging for the Mormons.

And Mormons are the ones that are Un-American.. Right Mr. Hanks?
